“OMG on the food - what a wonderful place to have open again to the public for their food and accommodation. Wed night pizza and pasta night, it was exceptional, we had the meat lovers which had all the meats and real meat with the added option of making it spicy … YES!!! And the garlic and cheese cream sauce pizza, they are wood fired and beautiful crust, Jason cooks up mean pizzas and delivers them well with Carlton on tap it is an all round great stop you MUST do. The taste was magnificent and the atmosphere is great. Open Wed night from 5pm - pizza and past til 8pm. Then Thurs to Sunday is lunch and dinner from their normal menu. We are coming back and calling in each time we go past to support these cherished pubs.. Thankyou”

“It's the last hoo ra for the Elephant bridge hotel so if you don't go you won't know free camping up the back and over the road be sensible no huge caravans plenty of parking out front fantastic food and prices live music on occasion rooms shared bathroom 8 rooms lounge with tea coffee and free coffee and tea no alacarte fancy coffee just good old instant what do you expect for free so closing on the 24/4/2026 meals large and delicious menus included kids welcome a must come help the classic country Vic pub est 1842 bikers welcome”

WOW what a venue, best pub meal we have ever enjoyed, meals presented well and cooked to perfection, service was amazing, so attentive and friendly. Enjoyed a champagne opening our presents in the beautiful gardens. Looking forward to our next family celebration, only 50 min drive from Warrnambool. “The Elephant Bridge Hotel in Darlington is a great spot. The meals were huge, tasty and really well priced. The desserts were old-school favourites and absolutely delicious. It’s a cute old pub with loads of character inside. The owners are lovely and made us feel so welcome – they were great at accommodating the whole family, toddlers included. We’d love to learn more about the history of the place next time we come in for a meal and a drink. If you’re travelling down the Hamilton Highway, we’d definitely recommend stopping in for a bite and a bevvy. We’ll be back for sure.”

“My husband and I recently dined at Elephant Bridge Hotel for lunch for the first time, and we absolutely loved the experience. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed, and the building itself is a beautiful old space with so much character to explore. The food was excellent value and beautifully prepared, and the sticky date pudding is an absolute must. We left feeling very well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. “A beautiful historic and scenic pub with very friendly staff and absolutely delicious meals. They handled a function of 34 people better than a function centre. I could not recommend this pub enough for functions, accommodation a family outing or a cold beer and a parma. “Everyone says its the most haunted hotel in Victoria but our experience there was absolutely amazing great atmosphere fantastic hosts and the food was perfect 10/10 guys great work. We got a room for the night and when you walk up the stairs and into the rooms it feels so cosy and homely. This place will be our once a month getaway.”

“Spent the better part of a day here as it was adjacent to a caravan / van free stay. Lovely pub with very pleasant people who own the pub. Great meals of a substantial serving size and great service. A quiet little gem here. Could not recommend it more.”
